Winter Woburn Sculpture Gallery Wedding
Kirstie and Dan got married at the Abbey, in Woburn. Our second time shooting in this amazing Abbey, and it was by far one of the most emotional ceremonies we’d ever been to. Kirstie walked down the aisle after their little dog, with tears in her eyes and eyes set on Dan. She wore the most incredible, simple Pronovias dress and carried simple autumnal style posie. The aisle at this Abbey is pretty long, and as if it wasn’t emotional enough watching them both well up, the choir and string group set the romantic and powerful feel, perfectly.
Afterwards, everyone hopped onto a bus and headed two minutes down the road into the Woburn Sculpture Gallery, our second home, basically. For a cold winter wedding, the skies were blue and the light was subdued – Absolute perfection. We took them away for a few moments to revel in that ‘just married’ feeling and to get some shots of the pair of them together.
We especially loved their dog being at the wedding – We always encourage bringing the dog to your wedding if you’re a dog lover, because if you’re anything like us, they’re part of the family, right? The logistics can be a little odd, but there are professional dog sitters out there who love to bring dogs to weddings, and it always looks so awesome. Pooch couldn’t come into the Sculpture Gallery though, so instead the table plan and table names all had their own winter themed portrait of the dog, everyone loved them!
