Courtney & Adam: Woburn Safari Park Wedding

They say never work with animals or children, right?! Well, we had the pleasure of both!

Weddings are always special to us, but when a couple chooses a venue as extraordinary as Woburn Safari Park for their wedding, it takes the day into an unforgettable adventure.

We had the pleasure of capturing Courtney and Adam’s wedding on a sunny September day last year and one that we won’t forget for a while. We remember seeing the enquiry form come in and we were buzzing with excitement – We’ve done a lot of work for Woburn Safari Park in the past and we love it! This day was a day we were very much looking forward to. Courtney told us ‘it’s basically a family day out at the zoo!’ and we’re loving that vibe.

These two exchanged vows in the beautiful surroundings of Woburn lodge with the sun in the distant background and meerkats overlooking. Pretty awesome, as nervous as we were about the rings being dropped between the planked flooring – but all nerves gone when Courtney and Adam turned round to everyone wearing animal face masks – This lot were hilarious!

We hopped into a land rover with Ranger Rob and stopped off for tom-foolery and photos with Elephants, Giraffes, and then a little train ride with all of their guests to hand feed alpacas and peek at capybaras.

Guests were then treated to a go on the good ol’ Swan boats at Woburn safari park. A super fun touch to a truly incredible day. We had an amazing golden hour where we captured the bride and groom in the grounds of Woburn. Golden Hour is a truly special moment for us and for our couples, and Courtney and Adam REALLY wanted to capture this!
