Alys and Carl’s Wedding at Winters Tale Country Barn was a truly magical and unforgettable late summers day. The couple chose one of our favourite picturesque venues, which is located in the heart of the countryside, for their wedding. The rustic charm of Winters Tale provided the perfect setting for their laid back wedding.
Getting ready
Alys got ready in the barn at the venue, surrounded by her bridesmaids and mum. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and then nerves as Alys put on her beautiful wedding dress and prepared to walk down the aisle with Dad, who had a last minute panic that he didn’t bring cufflinks – Alys gifted him some!
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the main barn, which is a stunning space filled with loads of natural light. The barn’s high ceilings and rustic wooden beams provided the perfect backdrop for the ceremony, and it was so cute! The barn was decorated with sunflowers and balloons, which added a beautiful pop of colour.
Fun times!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a refreshing drinks reception, complete with ice cream, which was a hit with everyone, as was the crazy golf on the lawn. We took Alys and Carl for couples portraits around the gardens, and then for the reception then moved into the beautiful dining area.
After dinner, the sweet cart was a big hit with guests, and it was filled with an array of mouth-watering treats for everyone to enjoy. Even more than that though – Cocktails! This is something Winters Tale is renowned for. Who doesn’t love a pornstar martini? My favourite!
Overall, Alys and Carl’s wedding at Winters Tale Country Barn was a truly special and unforgettable day. The rustic charm of the venue, the beautiful natural light, and the delicious food and ice cream made for a perfect day. The couple’s love for each other, and the love and support of their friends and family, made the day truly unforgettable.
