Personalised Perfection – The Wedding of Flora & Poppie

Poppie & Flora. One of the most colourful weddings we’ve ever been to. The details, the efforts, the little things, the BIG moments, all of it was just wonderful.

We rocked up to Huntsmill in August for this stunning wedding of Poppie & Flora. We couldn’t help but pop in to the venue to take a sneak peek at the décor and we were completely blown away. If there’s one word to describe the day, it’s FUN. We found brightly coloured flowers in little Kilner jars, polaroids of the couple and the BEST table place names we’ve seen in a long time – LEGO!

But the little details didn’t stop there. We found personalised festival style cups, temporary tattoos even entertainment in the form of questions about the couple on the table!

Taking it outside, we found giant paper flowers which was a stunning touch to a stunning day.

Time to meet the brides! Flora was already ready in her suit which she was ROCKING and Poppie was getting ready in her silk pyjamas as she got her hair and make up done along with her bride tribe and little dog! (Always bring your dogs to weddings)!

The details continued. We found two leather vow books that had gold foil detail on. A really love addition to the day. The ring holder was also embossed with P & F and the wedding date on.

Flora was looking dapper in her suit as she put her burnt orange tie on, complete with lego piece (a fan favourite)! Open up the suit jacket and what do we find? The wedding date embroidered in the inside pocket, a really lovely, touching detail.

Time for some snaps of Flora who looked amazing in her suit, complete with sunglasses that had “bride” written on the arm of them.

We had so much fun over with Poppie who was now ready to get in to her dress. It was a sweltering day so a handheld fan was a must have accessory.

Time for one of our favourite moments we’ve captured at a wedding so far. A first-look with the about-to-be newlyweds. A moment we adored capturing and one we know you will too. You can just feel the elation through these photographs. A touching time before actually getting married.

Time to say “I do”. No flower girls here, just a flower man, complete with the best moves we’ve ever seen shimmy down an aisle. This really set the tone of the day which was fun, fun and more fun!

Poppie waltzed down the aisle and the energy was electric. They both said their vows with huge smiles on their faces and the biggest cheers that could be heard for miles.

We snuck off the newlyweds to capture them in their loved up glory and then it was time for the confetti walk, but this one was like NO OTHER. This one had brightly coloured ribbons for the guests to wave around and rather than traditional confetti, the team opted for BUBBLES which made for EPIC photos. The guests were having an amazing time drinking Pimms and eating ice cream in the glorious sunshine. The couple had really thought of it all – there were bubble guns, large Jenga and even more garden games such as hessian sacks for sack races.

Time for the wedding breakfast, introducing the newlyweds and what a reception they received. The speeches were emotional, the cocktails were flowing and the vibes were incredible.
