Moxhull Hall Wedding Photography – Pete & Vicky
If there was one wedding we’d been impatiently waiting for, it has to be Pete and Vicky’s at Moxhull Hall in Birmingham! We already had the pleasure of shooting bridesmaid Claire’s wedding a few years prior, back when Vicky was a bridesmaid. Word of mouth are always the best referrals and an absolute honour for us, and its always a pleasure to see known faces and growing families at ongoing weddings!
We knew from the off that this wedding was going to be ‘rockin.’ We knew that Pete was in an amazing band called Apollo Soul, as we’d seen them play at previous weddings. When I went to see the boys in the morning, Pete’s dad turned up on a Harley Davidson, and announced that he’d be dropping the bride off later, on the back of it. My excitement for this, paired with Sarah’s excitement of a dog at the wedding meant that this was easily going to go in our ‘weddings to remember’ bank. The bike, dog, and the meticulous grounds at Moxhull Hall provided stunning props for photographs on the day, as you can probably see.
A few wedding day details
We absolutely adored Vicky’s Mori Lee dress and her hair and make up was amongst the best we’d seen (turns out bridesmaid Gaby is an amazing hairdresser too), although everyone looked pretty as can be. The bridesmaids outfits were made up of New Look crop tops and handmade Tutu’s, and are proof that bridesmaids outfits don’t have to cost top notch to look incredible! Everyone at this wedding was a great laugh, and the venue staff matched the mood incredibly. Tony was always attentive to the couple, and even presented Vicky with a four leaf clover before she walked down the aisle! Easily a new favourite venue for us and we felt like part of the family there – Thanks Tony!
