Although we are lucky enough to be a recommended supplier of the Woburn Sculpture gallery (we call it our second home as we shoot so many weddings there yearly), we had never had the pleasure of photographing a ceremony at the nearby grade two listed, Saint Mary’s church. We drive past it regularly to shoot at the Sculpture Gallery and the Safari Park, and we’ve often discussed what it must be like inside. Well, it was not to disappoint as it was pretty breathtaking – Its no ordinary church, its as lovely inside as it is out. Such a fantastic setting for the wedding of Camille and Jason.
We hit it off with Camille and Jason straightaway. They’re a beautiful family with three lovely boys, whom loved being photographed throughout the day. This was a wedding laced with true style and grace, in every sense of the words. The guests and both families were so welcoming to us, we almost felt like one of them!
One of my most memorable moments from the day was during golden hour, when I stole the couple away to get some portraits by the beautiful fading light. As we approached the dividing wall between the sculpture gallery grounds and the deer park, a filmic mist descended across the land, towards us. That, is what I call a perfect photography moment.
