As you may know by now, we’re all about the little details and capturing these. We know just how much hard work goes in to planning a wedding and so we want you to remember your ideas and the wedding of Tanya and James was filled to the brim with these gorgeous details. The entrance was covered in little trinkets, there was a simple sign saying T <3 J and Sarah discovered an illustrated print
Tanya’s choice of beige Jimmy Choo’s certainly caught Sarah’s attention so it was over to style them with the dress to capture a details shot. We take 1000’s of photos of you as a couple, your day, the important bits & your guests, but we never skip the detail. That’s just how we roll… You can read more about our approach to weddings here.
Tanya was busy getting ready with the Alex Bridal makeup glam squad and Dan was over with the lads who were really chilled and already dressed and ready when we got there.
Hair and make up complete, but yet to be dressed, Tanya took a look at the venue to ensure everything was in place. That was quite a look as she walked down the aisle in her silk pajamas, just hours before she’d be walking down it in her gorgeous dress.
As the boys were dressed and ready, we took some group shots before they went in to get James married!
Guests were arriving and it was time for Sarah to put her backless, lace detailed dress on. Having her hair up meant that the details of the back of the dress were firmly on show as it flowed down her back and behind her with a stunning, long lace train.
Her flowers of choice from Creation flowers were a bunch of stunningly, bright white peonies. First look time and Dad walked up the stairs and his face was a picture we were desperate to capture.
We took some quick snaps of the girls looking beautiful and then took a stroll across to get Tanya married!
Nerves were kicking in for James (which we of course, took photos of) and then it was time for Tanya to walk down the aisle and marry the love of her life.
Rings exchanged, vows said and papers signed and it was time to kiss the bride and then head outside to celebrate, but not before an epic group photo of everyone inside.
The rain dried up after the incredible speeches and so the guests got to play with the amazing garden games Tanya and James had sorted.
Time for those newly wed shots and so we took Tanya and James on a walk around the grounds to get them in their golden hour We flew the drone to capture the beauty of the grounds of Bassmead and to make sure we could get Tanya’s incredible dress in all its glory!
The guests were having a whale of a time back at base camp and the couple had decided to have bubbles rather than confetti which we LOVED.
We took some more shots of the loved up team and then it was time to hit the dance floor. Bassmead is one of our favourite venues to shoot at and it’s no wonder why. Whatever the weather, this venue has it all and we had an amazing day.
To Tanya & James!
