A Summer’s Delight at Shuttleworth House; the wedding of Sophie & Tobi.

What a stunning day we had at Shuttleworth house for the wedding of the gorgeous Sophie & Tobi.

The day was set, the venue ready and so Sarah popped in to see how Sophie was getting on. Sophie’s stunning dress from Dolly’s Bridal was hanging in the doorway with its stunning lace and beaded detail gleaming in the sunshine. We weren’t blessed with sunshine all day, but we did have glimmers of the good stuff (wait until you see the Golden Hour photos – epic).

We always take the time to snap the pictures of the details of the day. You work so hard for months, sometimes years to think of EVERYTHING to do with the day, so we want to be sure that we capture those details for you to look back on.

Sophie opted for a stunning, classic Tiffany & Co. bracelet for her accessory as well as Gucci Flora for her signature scent.

The bridesmaids dresses (and suit – legend) were hanging up pressed and ready to go and each hanger had a personalised name AND individual photo of the person it belongs to on the tag. We adore small details like this and makes the bridal party feel so at home instantly ahead of the big day.

We’re a sucker for personalisation and the theme definitely continued throughout the day as we spied the veil that Sophie would be wearing embroidered with “All my love, mum” written on it. A very special touch for the day.

The flower girls were ready and raring with energy running around the place, excited to see Sophie in her wedding dress, but Sophie kept everything well under wraps wearing floral silk pyjamas whilst the bridesmaids continued to get ready.

Dan was over with Tobi who was super chilled and relaxed after seeing the venue all complete. A good days work! Time to get those shirts on, get dapper and

We caught a really lovely, emotional moment of Tobi’s Grandfather putting on his cufflinks ready for the day. A precious moment for all.

The energy in the girls room was HIGH as the girls posed for fun photos waiting for all of them to be ready. Sophie had little presents ready as well something blue from Kim, Tobi’s Sister as a groom’s present. We hope Tobi enjoyed this!

Ready, set, we’re ready to go. Tobi was dressed in his navy pin striped suit and floral tie with a HUGE grin on his face. We took the time to get some photos of the groom’s party outside Shuttleworth House, a stunning building and the contrast of the old building and the modern-day suits and looks was stunning.

Sophie was beaming from ear to ear as she celebrated the anticipation of getting married to the love of her life with her bridesmaids. They were all in pale purple, flowing dresses and Tobi’s sister in a matching colour suit.

Time for Sophie’s Dad to see his little girl all grown up – a moment we adore capturing. The tears were flowing even before Sophie walked out and it was a hugely emotional moment for everyone as you could see the pride in his eyes as he gave her a hug.

No more time for tears, it’s time to get these two lovebirds married! The guests were arriving and the nervous energy was building as Sophie walked down the gorgeous royal staircase and one step closer to the love of her life.

Last final checks and a few tears from Tobi (before Sophie even walked in) and it was time to reunite the pair.

We love having two of us as we can capture BOTH the bride AND the groom’s reaction to seeing each other for the first time before tying the knot and this was perhaps, one of our favourite to capture. You can read more about this in our approach section of the website – psst…it’s here.

As you can see, Tobi was in floods of tears and Sophie had an excited face as they stood together at the top of the alter very much ready to do this!

Introducing, the new Mr and Mrs Jay. We took the time to sneak the bride and groom and their people away for some shots inside the stunning house whilst Shaun Colwill entertained guests with his music.

Confetti time and the weather held out for us and then the most thought out part of the day. The couple had a magician and a painter to paint photos of the guests! A must have for this time of the day – where we sneak the couple off for their main moments – making THEM the main characters (as if they weren’t already).

It was starting to drizzle so we had the umbrella at the ready, but that didn’t stop the beautiful smiles of the couple as we walked the grounds of Shuttleworth, finding the best spots to capture those moments. The ones you want printed in a frame and displayed around your house.

Laughs, tears and cheers during the speeches and we made sure we had enough time to go and capture golden hour; some may argue the most important of the day.

We took some amazing photos of the couple as they enjoyed each other’s company before heading back to the dancefloor to throw some epic shapes – and that they did!

Just one last drone shot of Shuttleworth House as the sun set over the day, seeing guests pouring outside one last time.

We had such a good day capturing this lovely couple. To you, Sophie & Tobi!
