A stunning, outdoor ceremony. The Wedding of Mr & Mrs Walters.

Something we’ve kept our eye on this year and we think is a great trend, is the newspaper one! As soon as we got to see Olivia, we noticed this epic idea – containing information on the day itself, the couple’s love story, a little timeline of the story until now – all really gorgeous information for the wedding party to take a look at in between moments on the day.

Olivia had gone above and beyond by creating bridesmaid boxes for every member of the bridal party. These contained personalised candles, a personalised Yeti water bottle, a little cocktail can and other little sweat treats all with the person receiving it in mind.

Olivia’s bridesmaid’s dresses were all hung beautifully in their different, pastel colours. A beauty to behold and the day hadn’t even begun! Sarah turned the corner and Olivia’s dress was hanging beautifully on an old, wooden wardrobe. The contrast of the dark oak to the stunningly, white dress was something Sarah couldn’t resist taking a photo of.

Let’s talk about Olivia’s bridal party and the FUN they bought. Sarah has just turned up as she walked into one of Olivia’s bridesmaids on the other’s shoulders opening a bottle of prosecco. Talk about set the tone of the day! They were both giggling and squealing with excitement, setting the energy for the wedding.

Olivia was busy having her makeup done, so Sarah managed to get some lovely, candid moments on camera as the girls got ready. Bottoms up & cheers – we captured some great images of the bridal squad together in all their glory (and pink silk pyjamas with fluffy slippers to complete the look)! We love a candid shot and you can read all about why it’s so important in our approach.

Girls just want to have fun and wow, did this lot just do that?! The bridesmaids picked up copies of the newspaper, popped on their sunglasses and posed for what we think is one of the best group shots we’ve taken this Summer.

Olivia’s mum knocked at the door and started to get ready with the girls. She looked fabulous in her navy dress and matching hat! We love a mum of the Bride outfit!

Meanwhile, over at The Swan, the lads were lapping up the sunshine ensuring everything was ready for the big day. The harpist was practising, and the sun was shining. The boys were already dressed and ready as they pulled up to the venue, ready to start the big day!

James looked calm and collected in his suit complete with sunglasses and entourage.  Time for a quick shot and it was outside to greet the guests.

Back to Olivia and it was the final touches here. Time to pop that stunning dress on. With her team around her to help, Sarah managed to capture some more detail including Olivia’s hand complete with engagement ring and experimental shots of Olivia looking at herself in the mirror ahead of the biggest day of her life.

Dan captured some group shots of the boys, and it was time to make these two lovebirds husband and wife.

The first look shot is one we always love to capture, and we adored the way Olivia’s bridal reacted! And rightly so!

Some quick group shots of the girls, but not for long…James is waiting!

We head across to the outside ceremony and were astonished to see such a stunning array of detail that had gone into the big day. We saw flowers of every colour, purposefully matching Olivia’s bridal party dresses, we heard the stunning Zoe Anderton as we arrived and the feeling in the space was electric.

A moment of emotion for James and it was time for Olivia to come beaming down the aisle! We love an outdoor ceremony, and this was no different. Luckily the rain held off as we witnessed Olivia and James become the new Mr & Mrs Walters.

Ceremony complete, vows and rings exchanged, and it was time to get this party started.

We adored being at The Swan Tipis/Sun Felmersham because it had a homely feeling to it, allowing Olivia & James to be completely relaxed. We took the two through the confetti line and then away from everyone for some more intimate shots.

The guests were thoroughly enjoying themselves, so we got the bridal and groom party people together for some group shots.

The girls had tonnes of fun with their umbrellas and the lads enjoyed being with James.

Guests continue to mingle outside until it was time to head into the tipi and celebrate this marriage! We witnessed an entrance like no other with each member of the bridal party entering the tipi in their own unique way – oh, what fun!

Time for a little surprise – surprise singers. An amazing touch to the day and big shout out to the team for their amazing set getting everyone on their feet and dancing.

After some time to calm down, we took Olivia and James away again to ensure we could get the best out of golden hour out in the deserted and quiet fields in Felmersham. Golden hour certainly did not let us down.

The day went so fast, and it was time for the couple’s first dance followed by plenty of throwing shapes on the dancefloor from the guests.

We had an epic day celebrating the epic couple. Congrats!
