Manor Farm Barn Wedding at Autumn – Rachael & Andy

October isn’t always the most popular time to get married, but honestly, autumn is one of our all time favourite seasons to shoot! Rachael and Andy got married at Manor Farm Barn and it was BEAUT.

The autumnal colours, the warmth still lingering in the air and the most lovely golden hours, happen around October.

We loved the little details such as the ever popular personalised newspaper (A cute little 2024 trend we’re sure will continue to stick around for a few years) and the individual gifts for the wedding squad.

Manor Farm Barn is a bit different to a lot of barn venues – In that it has a church literally next door! Their church ceremony was stunning and the weather was perfect, allowing the sun to pour in through the stained glass window, and allowing for an awesome drinks reception outside with some live sax.

As we head over to Manor Farm, it was time for the group shots. We love a group shot as much as the rest of us, however, we keep these lighthearted rather than stealing you away to stand around for an hour. You’re surrounded by your best friends and family, so whilst the serious shots are important, the fun ones are better! It’s just part of our approach as photographers. You can read a little bit more about that here…

Rachael told us that golden hour was super important to her, so we spent the entirety of dinner peering across the fields waiting for *the perfect time.* That post-dinner golden hour didn’t disappoint as we captured the glorious couple in the shadows of dusk as the sun went down. Trust your photographers if they steal you mid-dessert!

If an Autumnal wedding is the one for you, then let’s get chatting.
