Yee-hah, let’s get ready for the wedding of Ashleigh and George.
It was a beautiful bright and sunny day and we were greeted by an old school Land Rover with a stunningly bright white ribbon tied to the front in a good old traditional manner. What a start to the day!
Ashleigh & George opted for an outdoor ceremony on this lovely May day and it certainly did not disappoint!
George was checking the venue was up to Ashleigh’s standards by doing a quick walk round ensuring the finer details were ticked off. Ashleigh was getting ready with the girls, but not before a quick slurp of her Starbucks whilst getting her hair done – talk about multi tasking!
Her stunning shoes soon caught Sarah’s attention (there’s a theme running here Sarah…) who placed them neatly on top of the lace detail of Ashleigh’s dress to take a lovely detailed shot. We’re all about capturing the detail of the day, not just the classic wedding shots. You can read all about it in our approach section of the website…
Not long after, Sarah turned around and a pair of white cowboy boots…more on those later…
The bridal party were having a good ol’ dance around in their PJ’s drinking Prosecco – could there BE a dreamier way to get ready on your wedding day?
The kids stole the show as they pranced around in their casual clothes, giddy with the excitement of the day.
Dan was over with the lads who were having a laugh getting ready. The team were super chilled which has a huge impact on the day. The relaxed feeling was certainly felt in both camps as everyone got ready.
Quick fresh check and it was time to get married! But not before we captured some epic pictures of the boys looking fresh in their green tweed suits.
Ashleigh was getting in to her dress and having her veil put on as the excitement began to build. I think we can all agree she looked absolutely stunning in her long, flowing, lace detailed sleeveless dress which prompted a lovely first look moment from Dad which, of course, we got on film.
Guests were arriving and looking dapper and just as we were about to welcome in Ashleigh, we were interrupted by a guest like no other. A teeny tiny land rover complete with white ribbon on ready to be ridden down the aisle! A definite highlight that we won’t forget for a very long time.
The sun shone as Ashleigh walked down the aisle and her Father handed her over to George. We witnessed a stunning ceremony complete with the cutest ring bearers and flower girls.
We continued to enjoy the lovely weather as we captured photos of the bridal teams, the family and those all important newlywed shots. There’s something so magical about capturing the moments where you’ve just got married, we take a stroll around to celebrate and you can breathe a sigh of relief as you finally get to start to enjoy the day properly.
Guests were thoroughly enjoying themselves complete with beer in hand.
We took it inside to snap some shots of the detail of the inside ready for the wedding breakfast and welcomed in the guests.
The speeches were truly wholesome with the perfect level of laughs, smiles and tears and went down a treat with the guests.
The sun was calling, as were the gorgeous grounds of Wooton Park and let’s not forget THAT Landrover! We took it outside to get some final snaps of the love birds before it was time to hit the dance floor for the first dance which is when…the COWBOY boots made an appearance! It was everyone to the floor as Countrybound Band played the night away with a belter of a playlist. These boots were made for dancing, and that’s just what they did!
