Ah, the lovely Hannah and Lewis, the new Mr and Mrs Morgan decided to choose Bassmead Manor as their venue and they were NOT disappointed. The venue was decorated beautifully with tones of lilac, white and red with the ceremony being held in the famous Rickety Barn.
Their vows were printed in personalised, paper books with baby blue ribbon with His vows and Her bows written on them.
Sarah was with the girls and they had a really heartfelt morning at Dove Cottage; the ultimate pre-wedding room. Hannah’s dress was a sleeveless long dress with lace detail and was hanging beautifully in front of the bride squad. Hannah’s veil was long, flowing and had tiny leave detailed flowers at the bottom of the veil.
The detail of the day was very much a blue theme including the ring box, the blue of the eucalyptus in Hannah’s flowers and the ribbon on Hannah’s bouquet.
Dan was over with the lads, who were prepping and priming themselves for the big day.
Lewis and his groom squad chose a royal blue blazer with grey striped waistcoat and baby blue tie with little buttonholes of orange and yellow flowers, providing the perfect ‘pop’.
The grounds at Bassmead are perfect to capture some quick group shots of the lads whilst the nerves were building.
Hannah and Lewis opted for simple yet effective décor in the ceremony hall with single flowers in little jars decorating the top of the aisle where they would legally sign and little blue ribbons hanging off chairs with tiny bundles of white, gypsophilia on them.
It was time for Hannah to get into her dress and we managed to capture all of the essence of the FUN she was having whilst doing so, a really lovely moment. Veil clipped into place, shoes on and a quick jewellery check, and we were good to go.
We had just enough time for the bride squad to read their personalised letters to them and it was time to head to the venue. The guests were already arriving in quick succession and Hannah was ready with her bride squad and Dad who was waiting in anticipation to walk down the aisle. Hannah and Lewis looked so comfortable as they met each other at the bottom of the aisle, ready for their vows and their I do’s.

We swiftly took the couple off to get some intimate shots and as always, the stunning grounds of Bassmead did not disappoint.
Confetti shots followed by Strawberry Daiquiri’s and we took it outside on the sunny January day to capture those important family photos. Our approach to these is to make the guests laugh and have lots of JOY, which you can read about in the our approach section of our website.
We wandered around the gardens, finding brilliant intimate spots to capture the beautiful sun shining down on the newlyweds and of course, we couldn’t miss the famous Bassmead bridge.
The day flew by and it was time to head back inside to welcome Hannah and Lewis in front of all of their guests.
All speeches were extremely personal and heartfelt and gave us some time to capture one of our candid images of the guests; our favourite.
Golden hour was calling so we nipped outside to get those stunning sunset shots. Dusk started to set and it was time for us to bid farewell to Bassmead, but not before we got some EPIC shots of the couple’s first dance which involves choreography AND A LIFT! This wedding was a lot of fun to shoot and as always, we were so grateful to the couple, the venue and the suppliers for being so great to us.
